Event Description
Juneteenth is a celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. It is indeed a celebration of life and freedom; of diversity and acceptance; of remembrance and reflection.
Come out and have fun at our Annual Juneteenth Event!
Entertainment:
Hip Hop Dancers will be performing on Friday @ 5-ish
DJ Double R Entertainment will provide a mixture of old school, R&B, and Rap music for dancing and line dancing Friday and Saturday evenings until Midnight!
Ferris Wheel for kids Friday night
Basketball Skills training- little kids 9am- 10:30 and older kids 11 am- 1 pm Saturday (must complete waiver and register in advance $15.00 )
Line Dance practice 2pm - 4pm Saturday-with Mrs. Lisa White-Laverne
50 ft. Obstacle course- 3 pm Saturday
Huge Water Slide
75 ft. Train Ride for kids- 4 pm - 8pm Saturday
Plenty of food and drinks!
Jack o’ Don - Pizza & Chicken. Smoked Turkey Legs, Funnel Cakes, Shaved Ice, Smoked Pork Chops, - Desserts..
Vendors: Cologne; Hobby Heart Creations featuring dessert jars & more
