Event Description
The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and Crown Straighteners invites you to our first Professional Women's Quarterly Luncheon of 2024 presented by Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.
We are honored to welcome Brownwood City Manager, Emily Crawford as our guest speaker.
Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Wellness Promotion from Texas State University in 2000 and obtained a Master's Degree in Organizational Development from Abilene Christian University in 2021. She completed the Public Executive Institute from the Lyndon B. Johnson of Public Affairs, UT Austin, in 2015. Emily serves on the Brownwood Education Foundation Board and Brownwood Community Church. She is also active in the Texas City Management Association (TCMA), where she has held several roles including Region 3 Vice President and President, TCMA Director at-large, Membership Committee Chair, and Allies Committee member. Emily and her husband, Scotty, have been married since 1996 with their two children and daughter-in-law. She was recently voted as the 2023 Woman of the Year at the 117th Annual Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Banquet in September.
