Riverfest- BBQ Cookoff and Raft Race @ Riverside park

Event Description
The 3rd annual RiverFest will be held on July 4th at Brownwood's Riverside Park, and will also include around 75 various arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, Heartland Cruisers Car Show, barbecue cook-off sanctioned by the Lone Star Barbecue Society, 13 bounce houses for kids, knocker ball, laser tag and kayak and canoe rentals
Raft Races
The Raft Race is open to both companies and individuals who are willing to build a raft and compete against one another in a 100 meter race down the Pecan Bayou. Entry fee for the race is $25 and will have two categories to choose from including double and group. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest raft in each category, one for the best use of materials, and the Titanic award for the most dramatic sink. more info and registration is on the website at http://brownwoodjcs.com/raftrace
Vendors
Vendor spaces are available for $75 for a 10 ft X 10 ft spot and electricity is available for $20. for vendor application go to http://www.brownwoodjcs.com/riverfestvendor Completed applications should be returned with payment by June 27. No applications will be reviewed or accepted after this date. Electricity, and booth spaces, are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

The Brownwood Jaycees would like to invite you to take part in our third annual RiverFest Barbecue Cook-off sanctioned by the Lone Star Barbecue Society that will be held on July 3-4 at Riverside Park in Brownwood, Texas.
Categories & Entry Fee:
Brisket, Chicken & Ribs (No Baby Backs) ONE OR ALL for $125 / 80% Payback to the top 3 winners in each category
Jackpot Beans $25 / 100% Payback to the top 3

- Cookers Meeting 6 pm on Monday in the pavilion
- Turn in times (Tuesday): Beans 11 am, Chicken 12 (noon), Ribs 1 pm and Brisket 2 pm in the pavilion
- Awards 4 pm-5pm (Depending on how many cookers we have)
