May 16 - Jun 13   Quanah Parker and Cynthia Ann Parker Exhibit
Starting May 16 the Santa Anna Visitors center will host the Quanah and Cynthia Ann Parker Exhibit. The Exhibit will be on display May 16 through June 13. There are 43 seldom seen photographs that depicts the life and times of Quanah and his mother Cynthia Ann Parker and their 2 worlds. Cynthia Ann and Quanah Parker are two important names in U.S. frontier history. Much can to be learned from the dramatic story of these two courageous individuals. In 1836, a Comanche raiding party took Cynthia Ann from her family and over the following years, she became wife to a Comanche chief and mother to children, including Quanah. After Cynthia Ann was taken back by Texas Rangers, Quanah became one of the most important Comanche leaders both in war and peace. The Lakes Trail Program recognizes the importance of their life stories and is initiating this effort to tell both youths and adults about these two persons and about the many significant places in Texas and Oklahoma important to knowing about their lives. The Exhibit will be on display May 16 through June 13. The Visitors Centers hours for this event is Monday through Saturday 10am to 5 pm 715 Wallis Ave Santa Anna Texas Admission is by donation. Jun 30   "Tenacious Tuesdays"
Ever wondered what it was like to be a Mary Kay Consultant or if it would be the right career choice for you? Then you have to join us for "Tenacious Tuesdays". At these weekly success meetings, consultants and guests, will learn how to make their MK business a huge success! Ask questions and learn from other consultants who are currently working their businesses. Here are just a few reasons to consider Mary Kay:

Has the highest commission structure of any direct sales company today.

*     Was founded on the concept of Faith first, Family Second & Career third and the "Golden Rule".

*     Have the highest paid women, with hundreds earning over $50,000/$100,000 per year.

*      Has been named three times as one of The "Top 100 Companies to work for in America" (1984, 1993, 1998) and as one of the "10 Best Companies for Women to Work For".

*      Does not test on animals.

*      Products are consumable and you will always have repeat business.

*     Is not a pyramid, nor is it a multi-level company. You deal directly with the company and there is no middleman. All commissions are paid directly out of the profits from Mary Kay, never out of anyone?s pocket.

We look forward to seeing you and a guest if you'd like!
