The 2018 Annual Business Expo & The Taste of The Brownwood Area
The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 24th Annual Business Expo and 12th Annual Taste of the Brownwood Area event on Thursday, September 6th at the Brownwood Coliseum. Businesses throughout the area will be participating in this event representing various lines of trade.

The Expo will open at 10:00 AM and will wrap up at 5:00 PM. Admission at the door will be $2. Complimentary passes will be available for a limited time at the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce

The Taste of the Brownwood Area will offer the community the opportunity to sample favorite recipes from local restaurants, caterers and bakeries. Slow smoked half chicken with banana pepper glaze, served with roasted baby red potatoes, grilled squash, zucchini, red peppers and onions. A spring mix garden salad along with dessert is included. The cost per person is $35 or music only is $20. We are also allowing BYOB with a $10 cooler charge.

| Sep 30 Always...Patsy Cline at the Lyric Theatre |
| Always…Patsy Cline is based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. The pen-pal relationship provides much of the plot of the show. The play focuses on the fateful evening at Houston’s Esquire Ballroom when Seger hears of Cline’s death in a plane crash. Seger supplies a narrative while Cline floats in and out of the set singing tunes that made her famous-Anytime, Walkin’ After Midnight, She’s Got You, Sweet Dreams, and Crazy-to name a few. The show combines humor, sadness and reality. It offers fans who remember Cline while she was alive a chance to look back, while giving new fans an idea of what seeing her was like and what she meant to her original fans. |
