Landmark Life Insurance Company, based in Brownwood, Texas, was founded in 1964 by O. C. (Putter) Jarvis, and began business on January 1, 1965. It's first order of business was the assumption of The Morris Association, a small local mutual aid association located in Brownwood. Over time, Landmark has assumed 53 small life insurance companies and blocks of insurance policies. We specialize in providing simplified issue life insurance products that provide protection for families across America. Landmark has evolved from a single state life insurance company to operating across the country. In 2008, we were approved to do business as a Third-Party Administrator. As a TPA, we service Ordinary Life Insurance, Home Service Life Insurance and Annuities. In total we now serve as a TPA for 10 companies, and service approximately 300,000 policies. The key to our growth has been to follow the template set down by Putter and to provide great service by employing great people.
